Around 80 percent of all microchips worldwide are manufactured using ZEISS technologies. Your Role:
- Contribute to the procurement process for electrical equipment, systems and machines
- Take responsibility for the electrical planning and design of equipment, machines and systems
- Create layout drawings, electrical schematics, cable lists and bills of materials, and design control cabinets for production equipment
- Take responsibility for material selection and ensure the cleanliness of machine cabling for use in cleanroom environments
- Create engineering drawings and maintain bills of materials in SAP
- Carry out the electrical commissioning of equipment and machines, monitor implementation and ensure the preparation of the required documentation
- Advise project managers on relevant electrical engineering requirements, standards and regulations
- Provide technical coordination and guidance to external development partners and suppliers
Your Profile:
- Successfully completed vocational training in electrical engineering with further qualification as a state-certified technician, or an additional degree in electrical engineering, mechatronics or a comparable field
- Extensive experience in applying the Machinery Directive, knowledge of the new EU Machinery Regulation (EU) 2023/1230, as well as comprehensive theoretical and practical experience in the interpretation and implementation of relevant electrical engineering legislation, standards and regulations, particularly EN 60204-1 (VDE 0113-1)
- Experience with EPLAN P8 and AutoCAD 2D as well as maintaining bills of materials, documents and material numbers in SAP
- Experience in creating fluid power schematics would be an advantage
- An independent, proactive and responsible approach to work, combined with a high level of initiative and intercultural competence
- Fluent written and spoken German and good written and spoken English
